Karine Babakhanyan began her work in the field of mental health straight out of high school. She began her work with children and adults whom were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. She practiced her skills via specialized training in behavioral health/modification through Applied Behavior Analysis training. To further her training in the field, Karine Babakhanyan sought to earn her Master’s degree, and eventually earned her license as a Marriage Family Therapist. She has experience working with at risk youth, and teenagers in substance abuse treatment.
Karine Babakhanyan’s career goal and focus is to help de-stigmatize mental health, and to advocate for diversity within the mental health field.
She is currently the owner/therapist in private practice, creating an opportunity to serve individuals and families looking to improve their quality of relationships.
